PP (Polypropylene sheet)

Polypropylene is a plastic material with high impact strength and repeated bending, wear resistance, good insulating properties, high chemical resistance. Resistant to acids and alkalis. Easily recycled and colored dyes. Maximum operating temperature 120 C, has a low frost resistance.

Scope

In terms of production polypropylene ranks second in the world after polyethylene. Due to high consumer and technical qualities of polypropylene is very popular in many fields of industry: household and consumer goods, medical, automotive, construction and other.

Scope polypropylene sheets and plates today is quite wide. So, for example, polypropylene for electroplating used in the manufacture of tubs, floors, as well as gears, ductwork, etc. Polypropylene plates and sheets can be employed for the manufacture of tubs, swimming pools, local treatment facilities, for ventilation systems, for containers in the food industry.

Scope

Polypropylene listimages to be applied as a cladding, insulating material in various industries. They also employ for the production of household products, including contact with food (cutting boards, tanks, etc.)

Polypropylene materials are used in mechanical engineering, in mining, chemical industry, coal preparation. It is also possible to use these materials for the production of the pontoon for floating foundations of houses.

Features PP (polypropylene)

Polypropylene sheets feature high strength to impact and multiple bending, good fastness to rubbing and resistance to corrosion-type cracking. PP feature good dielectric properties in a wide temperature range, high chemical fastness and low vapor- and gas permeability. Operation temperature for sheet products is within -20 to +110°C. Plastic sheets can be made in various colors to suit specific customer demands. UV-stability can be provided as well.

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

under normal ambient conditions, the plastic sheets can resist organic thinners, such as alcohols, esters and ketones, as well as acids even of strong concentration and at temperatures over 60°С. PP sheets can resist mineral and vegetable oils, including their prolonged action. PP sheets can be noticeably affected only by strong oxidizers, i.e. chlorosulphonic acids, sulfuric acid (oleum/fuming sulfuric acid), concentrated nitric acid and sulfochromic acid (cleaning solution)
