WORKING WITH POLYPROPYLENE SHEET

In manufacturing of our polypropylene sheet we use special dyes with light resistance of 7-8 points and stabilizers that allow us to use the product outdoors without significant changes.

Our sheets are designed for cutting, milling and machining. The sheets can be contact- and ultrasonic welded with a gun, industrial dryer and extruder. Can be connected and affixed with bolts or rivets.

CHARACTERISTICS OF POLYPROPYLENE SHEETS

Depending on the raw material polypropylene sheet can be produced of two types:

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PP-S

Polypropylene sheets are of a high rigidity, high strength, especially at low temperatures, of a good resistance to abrasion and to stress corrosion cracking. PP is characterized by good electrical insulating properties over a wide temperature range, high chemical resistance and low steam and gas permeability. Operating temperature is from -40 to +80°C. Plastic sheet can be produced in different colours, depending on customer requirements. UV-stabilization is possible.

PP plastic sheet has a high notch impact strength, especially at low temperatures, good resistance to abrasion and to stress corrosion cracking

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

under normal conditions, a plastic sheet is resistant to organic solvents, such as alcohols, esters and ketones, as well as acids, even in high concentrations and temperatures above 60°C. Also resistant to mineral and plant oils even when exposure is prolonged. Only strong oxidants have a significant impact on the PP: chlorosulphuric, sulphuric (oleum) and concentrated and nitric acids, chromic mixture

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PP-G

Sheets of polypropylene (homopolymer) is distinguished by its high durability upon impact and repeated bending, good resistance to abrasion and to stress corrosion cracking. PP is characterized by good electrical insulating properties over a wide temperature range, high chemical resistance and low steam and gas permeability. Operating temperature of products made from this sheet is from -5 to +105° C. A plastic sheet can be produced in different colours, depending on customer requirements. UV-stabilization is possible.
